Evening with winemaker – Kamil Prokeš
In collaboration with Wine Selection, we cordially invite you to a tasting dinner with winemaker Kamil Prokeš, which will take place on February 26 in our restaurant.
A five-course tasting menu will be accompanied by two carefully selected wines for each course, allowing you to taste and compare multiple wines throughout the evening.

About Kamil Prokeš
After high school, Kamil Prokeš studied viticulture and winemaking, graduating with honors as an engineer in 2009. After earning a red diploma, he continued his doctoral studies at the Faculty of Horticulture in Lednice, completing his Ph.D. in 2016 with a dissertation on sparkling wines. He currently works as an assistant professor at the Institute of Viticulture and Winemaking at the Faculty of Horticulture of Mendel University.
He continues to share his theoretical knowledge and practical experience with students as a lecturer at the Wine Academy in Valtice, the National Wine Center, and the Institute for Lifelong Learning at Mendel University. He is a certified sensory evaluator (participating in international competitions on behalf of the Czech Republic), a member of the Czech Enologists’ Union, and a member of the Expert Commission of the Ministry of Agriculture for the SZPI (State Agricultural and Food Inspection) for wine classification and evaluation.
Beyond his expertise in winemaking, he is a three-time champion of the International Championship in Sabrage and holds eight Czech and one world record in sabrage.
In 2022, Kamil Prokeš was awarded Enologist of the Year 2022 for his exceptional production of still and sparkling wines, recognized for his meticulous approach to viticulture and the unique style in which he cares for his vines.
