Dinner with Gusbourne Sparkling Wines

GUSBOURNE – unique sparkling wines from southern England, the only ones that can truly rival Champagne.

We warmly invite you to a four-course tasting dinner on August 5th from 7:00 PM, prepared by our head chef Svatopluk Hemmer and his team. The unique wine pairing and presentation of Gusbourne sparkling wines will be personally guided by winery representative Mr. Duncan Brown. About Gusbourne
Gusbourne is a relatively young winery, with its story beginning in 2004 when the first vineyards were planted. Today, they cultivate 90 hectares in Kent and Sussex, growing the classic Champagne varieties – Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier. These predominantly Burgundian clones produce lower yields of intensely aromatic grapes, which thrive in the unique microclimate of southern England. The highly rated vintage sparkling wines are made using the traditional method of bottle fermentation.

The debut vintages – Brut Reserve 2006 and Blanc de Blancs 2006, released in 2010 – received praise from the world’s most discerning wine critics. In 2023, Gusbourne was also the official sparkling wine at the coronation of King Charles III – their Brut Reserve 2019 with a special label was the main coronation drink.
